Do you think I was totally off base?

Hey there,
I had alluded to in an earlier message
how my life had changed 2 days ago....
and this morning, I wrote it up!
You tell me....was I stark raving mad or
spot on the money?
On May 15th, 11:55pm, my life changed. 'Course, I didn't know it then! It all started with a promise I made to my eldest 2 months ago: when the midnight showing of Star Trek: Into the Darkness came out, I'd allow her to go.
On a school night, mind you. True, I was hoping that perhaps she'd forget but no such luck!! And that particular day...you know, the concept of "sleep" would have been so optimal for me, business-wise.
Still, think about it. My teen wanted to actively spend time with *me*. How rare is that in today's society? So off we went to experience Star Trek and....
Do you think I did right? Was I totally of base?
