While I'm working that out....
I looked up other autoresponder thingees. Not really comfortable recommending anything else at this time, so instead I dug deeper into the 20 blueprints for eMail profiting over at:

I just spent some time going thru it... and what I like is all the different (20!) techniques they offer to make sure your email marketing delivers the biggest bang for the buck. For example, #12, The Cold/Dead List Checklist:
It includes an email series to reintroduce yourself:
Step 1.) Reintroduce with your full name and business
Step 2.) Remind subscribers why they're ON your list.
Step 3.) Deliver a high-quality freemium that's *targeted... along with a call-to-action too
Step 4.) Set their expectations for future mailings
