Radiation Fighting Foods & Supplements Sent Saturday, June 18, 2011
Ok so we've gotten several questions about what foods and supplements are good for fighting radiation after the last e-mail about the Fukushima disaster and the increased radiation levels in the U.S. (and worldwide).

We take Kelp capsules in our family because it's easy, simple, cheap and effective. Kelp is loaded with Iodine (which most people are deficient in because of our diet). The Iodine in kelp also helps prevent as much as 97% of the radioactive Iodine (I-131 Isotope) from being absorbed by your body (which is one of the primary radioactive isotopes from the Fukushima meltdown).

Just to give you an idea of how severe it is, the radiation of the I-131 isotope was measured at 18,100 times above allowable levels in rainwater in San Francisco since the Fukushima meltdown. In Pennsylvania, they've measured radiation 3,300 times above allowable levels in water there.

So if you're concerned about the radiation, you can protect yourself by taking 3-4 Kelp Capsules a day.

You can order your kelp here for 10% off.

Other good sources for iodine and radiation protection include chlorella, blue-green algae, sea vegetables, green tea, and spirulina.

P.S. Luckily the half-life of I-131 is not nearly as long as Plutonium, but it's very important to get some supplemental iodine in right away to protect yourself as much as possible so grab some kelp today (you'll find almost all of the liquid iodine is sold out online because a lot of people are taking active measures to protect themselves and the manufacturers can't keep up).
