Everyone Has An Opinion Sent Tuesday, June 2, 2009

While I won't post their names here several former newsletter
readers write:

"Your copy really isn't that good, I don't see how you sell
anything, your grammar is horrible. Why should I listen to you?"
-- J.K.

"May I say that your newsletter is okay, but I can write much
better. While I haven't done any paid copy writing I've been
testing and am talking with a lot of prospects as a result of my
letters." -- C.H.

Now I say "former" newsletter readers because I purged them from my
list. I can do that because I'm the editor, and because they miss
a very important point.

The point they are missing is that I'm doing something. Not only
have I had many paid assignments, but I've sold more than $52
million dollars in technical services for my clients using my copy
writing.

I will admit, much of the AdBriefing Copywriting Tips program is
NOT my own. It comes from professional copywriters Patrick Quinn,
Bob Bly, Dan Kennedy, Ted Nicholas, and a whole library of
materials.

You are getting what I've learned from experience, not theory, and
what real experts say about writing copy that sells.

I don't profess to even being a good copywriter, I'm sure others
can write better, however, I use systems that get sales, leads that
become sales, and customer that repurchase -- these systems make up
for limited skills.

Because I'm still learning, testing, and discovering what works for
my specific trade, I can help you do the same in your business.
Rather than getting some stuffy know it all, I'll tell you upfront
that I'm still learning.

Beyond these points there is an even more important point, it's a
reason you want to start now working on your copy writing skills.
In the markets that I play, most other copywriters are horrible.
Probably shouldn't even call them copywriters.

I play in a market that doesn't measure, that wastes a lot of
marketing dollars, and couldn't write a headline if I put a gun the
their head. That's why my "average" copy writing skills knock the
pants off anything else in my market.

More importantly I have a 5-figure average sale price, so my
economics are stacked so far in my favor that I don't have to be
"name brand" to make clients happy. After all, they measure me by
the dollars I produce for them.

While I've downplayed my skills for the sake of demonstration, I
want you to understand that even if you are not very good with copy
writing, you CAN achieve bankable results. Don't let anyone
discourage you, talk down to you, and most of all, the only opinion
that really matters is that of your customers.

As along as you are a little better than others in your industry,
you can lead the field. Because I also do copy writing for
technical documents, special reports, and other selling tools, I
can open many more doors than just selling my sales letter services.

In fact, I'm probably that best example of what's possible if you
are willing to be a part of this training. My background is
computer science, I'm even a little antisocial. If I can create
results for my clients, some who are up against multiple billion
dollars companies, then you can too.

One of the tools I've created to help you get ahead in your
industry, writing copy that sells, is my SILVER coaching program.

I make money writing copy for others and in selling my own services
... and you can too.

Sincerely,
