How copywriters benefit from publishing Sent Thursday, April 1, 2010

As a copywriter you are in the "paper and ink business", literally
using words to sell. But think about this, you're also in the
business of selling words.

That's not much different than a publisher. I'm not talking about
being a Routledge or Random House -- but as someone in the "words
business" publishing could expand your copywriting business in the
following ways:

  * Write a newsletter to increase customer retention, highlight
current promotions, and invite back past customers.

  * Write a book that positions you as an expert in a specific area
of copywriting or field, write a book about your client to make
them famous.

  * Write special reports, white papers, and long-form print to
sell more expensive and complex products.

  * Write a blog to attract customers, educate buyers, or even sell
products in your niche.

You may think, "Well, all that is just copywriting." You are both
right and wrong. It's much bigger than that.

As a copywriter you are perfectly positioned to benefit from being
in the publishing business too. Think about Patrick Quinn -- Would
you have even known he was a great copywriter without this
Newsletter, his Book "WordPower III: The Copywriters Bible", or any
of his other great publications?

You might be one of the many readers already writing copy to
promote published resources, so it's likely you'll already be at
the upcoming Book Expo in New York this May.

Why not also familiarize yourself with how publishing can triple
your income as an copywriter, author, even a publisher ... Experts
will gather at Fred Gleeck's Publishing Seminar and you should too.

You are cordially invited to add publishing to your copywriting
results and see your income grow all around. For complete details
