More Ways to Learn and Earn Certification Credit; New Level II Credential
Download the brochure now.
The first major revision in Advanced-Trainings' Certification in Advanced Myofascial Techniques Program has been launched, providing new ways to earn elective credits, plus a new, higher level of certification (CAMT II).
Here at Advanced-Trainings.com, we regularly hear about how Certification benefits practitioners by focusing their studies, documenting their accomplishments, increasing their earning power, opening up practice opportunities, and helping their clients. After 7 years of certifying practitioners, we decided to make the program even better.
The core requirement of Certification remains the high-quality, in-person training in our five principle Advanced Myofascial Techniques (AMT) courses.
New options include:
- An ever-expanding selection of in-person specialty workshops
- Distance Learning options (webinars, self-paced Study Guides, etc). Even more are in production now.
- Credit for receiving AMT sessions as a client
- AMT Session Practice Log
- Personalized, actionable feedback via our unique Practice-Enhancement Assessment
- Individualized Advising or Coaching Sessions
- Client Supervision Hands-On Mentoring Session
- Shadowing Instructors' sessions
- Credit for repeating any workshop (half-price, half-credit)
- Local Study/Review/Supervision Groups
- Custom-designed individual study, internship, writing, service, or research projects.
- Credit for workshop "Table Assisting" (for eligible CAMT II candidates)
- Coming soon: Clinic and Spa Certification
- Most all options are also approved for NCBTMB, AMTA, ABMP, state board credit, and other types of CEUs.
The new upper-level CAMT II certification adds additional benefits, including in-depth individualized mentoring, approval to give for-credit AMT sessions, workshop "Table Assistant" eligibility, product discounts, and more.
Download the new brochure for complete details.
If you're already in the CAMT program,
A letter detailing these changes was recently emailed to all CAMT enrollees (please contact us if you haven't received it). If you're already enrolled, you will have a 2-year "grandfathering" period before any new requirements apply to you, but the new ways to earn credit count towards your existing requirements, and are available to you immediately.
If you're not yet in the CAMT program,
Why wait? Download the brochure, sign up online, or contact us for more information.

Working With Rib Restrictions
1 Hour Webinar ABMP Online Wed Dec. 7, '11, 60min
5pm PT, 6pm MT, 7pm CT, 8pm ET
Lead instructor: Til Luchau
NCBTMB and CAMT CE Credit optionally available.
Join Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP) and Advanced-Trainings.com instructor Til Luchau for a webinar discussing hands-on techniques for restoring rib cage mobility, taken from Advanced-Trainings.com's Advanced Myofascial Techniques series.
Restricted rib motion can arise from the usual things that cause us to lose mobility: stress, postural and habitual stance, inactivity, disease, pain, or injury. No matter what the cause, skilled hands-on work is an effective way to help reestablish lost motion. Because we take around 24,000 breaths in a day, even small changes in respiratory efficiency will have cumulative and far-reaching body-mind effects. Fortunately, this multiplying effect works both ways: not only can breath restrictions make us feel bad, but even small, incremental improvements in rib freedom can improve well-being on many levels.
