This is a great technique I learned from my friend Mike Long Searches per month: 3,000 (phrase match) Quoted competition: under 100,000 (the keyword searched in quotes) OCI: 50% (0.50 = 50%) This is Online Commercial Intention and it's online tool that Microsoft offers here: http://adlab.msn.com/Online-Commercial-Intention/ Simply type in your keyword and see if it's good (0.50 = 50%) The other important factor in all of this is to make sure there is a .com, .org or .net available for THAT keyword and no hyphens in the domain. Now, If you find a keyword with all of these parameters, you have then found a really good niche that will rank very well in the search engines. Of course, you will need to set-up a blog and there are certain elements to this that I will share with you tomorrow. OK? Until then..
