After my last newsletter about not being good enough (if you haven't read it, read it here), I received some great replies.
I really appreciate when my readers use some of their valuable time to respond to me, Thank you.
I have the privilege to share one of the stories with you and I'm so grateful for this.
Henrik wrote to me how his shadow: not being good enough, controlled and directed his life so much that he ended up in jail for 3 years!!
His thoughts about others expectations to him, his feeling that the best was never good enough, sent him into an exaggerated use of gambling addiction and subsequent embezzlement at his work place in order to pay his consumption.
Henrik expresses himself that his life was actually a worse prison than when he was physically living in prison!
When I ask Henrik, what he has learned from his experiences he expresses clearly that the key word is authenticity. Being honest about what you can give and receive!
My experience is that we as individuals often have challenges with being honest about ourselves because we fear what others think about us.
My challenge to you is to do it anyway and not let your fear stop you, do not let your thoughts stop you and certainly not let others opinion or what they MIGHT think of you, stop you for achieving your goals and be who you are.
When you really feel it's hard for you to do things, then I believe that it is precisely when, you need to do it. My experience is that you grow as a person.
