Freebies from Galveston Island RV Resort
We have
a special for you from Galveston Island RV Resort. Stay at Galveston Island RV Resort anytime between now and the end of October, and they will give you a free souvenir t-shirt and free electricity -- but you must ask for the "WOW Special" or tell them Coleen from Workers On Wheels sent you. We spent a month at the resort last spring -- it was immaculate, with large spaces. I've heard they have a shrimp boil coming up towards the end of this month. Here's a link to the review we wrote about the resort. Phone: (409) 200-2745.

RVing and Camping Tips - Cold Weather Bed Covers
When RVing in cold weather, use sleeping bags instead of blankets. Two can be zipped together to make one queen size bag. They trap body heat. They help keep your toes from sticking out. If it is really cold, you can add an additional quilt over the top.
