What's New on RV Life and
Travel
Staying mobile and being ready to move quickly is part of the freedom of RV living. Coleen and I like to be able to
leave in 15 minutes or less. The majority of the time we can accomplish that goal.
RV living is a flexible life. Freedom! Traveling, coming and going on our schedule --
or no schedule. For us, there's mostly no clock watching. And for us, it is not having to punch a time card. Those are good things, most of the time.
Lions Park Campground, Vermillion, South Dakota. Convenient, clean, safe, peaceful, and very affordable -- that's our impression of this little park. It's a city park campground, part of the Lions Park in Vermillion, SD.
For RV repairs in Vermillion, SD start with Henderson’s Exhaust Plus. I do most of our mechanic work, but didn't have the tools for this job. I needed to find a professional mechanic who works on RVs.

Camping and RVing Tidbits - National Parks Celebrating Veterans
In honor of Veterans Day, many national parks across the country host special events, displays, and ceremonies to commemorate the service and sacrifice of the U.S. Armed Forces. The National Park Service will waive entrance fees on Veteran's Day (this year, November 11).
Active duty military members and their dependents may also pick up a free
military annual pass at any national park that usually charges a fee. A free lifetime pass is also available to disabled veterans. These passes provide free entrance to more than 2,000 national parks, wildlife refuges, national forests, and other federal recreational areas.

RV Life and Travel Tip
Organize your clothing according to what you wear. My natural inclination is to have a stack of
t-shirts, a stack of turtlenecks, and a stack of pants. But, it works better for me to have my favorite pants and tops, the ones I wear most often, in one stack, in the most accessible part of my clothes cabinet. The others are stacked in the harder to reach part of the cabinet.

Positive RVing Attitudes
When I started counting my blessings, my whole life turned around. ~ Willie Nelson
Count your blessings, one by one! Gratitude journaling is one of the best ways to train your mind to look for appreciation in your life and feel joy in
those thankful moments. ~ Sandra Bell
