Exploring the Images that Live Within
With Pat B. Allen

A full, rich day to call forth the wisdom of the archetypes through Pat Allen's Open Studio process.

Carl Jung said that our greatest creative energy lives in the less familiar places. This workshop will visit those places by consciously and creatively befriending some of our most neglected archetypes. Individually and in collaboration we will engage the archetypes that call to us and learn what gifts and guidance they offer to our present lives and to the world. Through art, writing, sound and dramatic play we will call them to our circle and harvest the wisdom these neglected guides offer. As expressive arts practitioners we have the means to locate the wisdom dormant in our archetypes. It is our time to step forward and demonstrate that through our beloved arts, fear of change can yield to celebration of the new.

You will:
*explore art, writing, sound, and enactment
*experience Pat Allen's Open Studio Process of art and witnessing
*engage in individual and small group expressive arts process
*create ceremonies
*open up to new possibilities in life, both individually and collectively.
