A Happy New You!

Ring in the new year with a bright, energetic vision of the you that you choose to become. If the new year inspires you to self improvement, use that inspiration to set a pattern in place that will serve you well all year.

Start a daily practice of seeing and imagining yourself as you really want to be, moment by moment, throughout your day. Project a vision of yourself in front of you, stepping high and lively into your activities and interactions. Picture and imagine yourself with good posture, great energy, and lots of enthusiasm and happiness.

When you do this, you are setting a tone for your way of being as you move forward, and the more you use it the better it will work for you.
As you develop a practice of reinventing yourself daily, you will find it easier and easier to be exactly who and how you want to be. That's because that bright vision of you comes directly from your inner knowing of who you are.

This is a future-focusing type of exercise, which is the third (optimistic) part of the Goodfinding practice of Gratitude, Appreciation and Optimism. When you picture and imagine yourself engaging with and enjoying life with all of the skill and happiness you can muster, you're opening the doorway to those positive possibilities in your actual future experience.

As a Happy New You gift to yourself, take a few moments to watch the video below on the practice of Gratitude, Appreciation and Optimism.
