PCA—Yesterday Porsche announced the base Panamera and Panamera 4, plus four new Executive variants of the sedan. They will make their public debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show next week.​​​​​​​

PCA—Yesterday Porsche announced the public opening of its new Experience Center in Los Angeles (PEC LA), which also serves as Porsche Motorsport North America’s (PMNA) new headquarters and a classic race car repair and restoration shop.

The $60-million facility sits on 53 acres next to the 405 freeway, and contains a “driver development track with eight educational modules totaling 4.1 miles, a changing race car exhibit, and a fine-dining restaurant,” according to Porsche.

PCA Club Racing—Nicole Robichaud says she’s been watching her dad and PCA Club Racing Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport Trophy East series teammate, Rene Robichaud, race for as long as she can remember. But at age 15, she no longer wanted to sit on the sidelines.

“His passion and success were contagious,” Robichaud said. “I loved watching him race, so I finally got into karting when I was 15.”

Car News China—No, this is not a Porsche Macan. This indeed is the Zotye SR9, a Chinese clone of the Macan. It was delayed by a coupe of times but now it has finally been launched on the market. Price of the SR9, formerly known as the SR8, starts at 109.800 and ends at 162.800 yuan ($16.115 – 23.900). The Macan starts at 558.000 yuan ($83.000). So you can have 5.5 SR9’s for one Macan. I have since heard that the first SR9’s have arrived at the single Zotye dealer in Beijing, next Monday I will go to have a look.
