PCA—After just three years in Monterey, Porsche Club of America’s Werks Reunion has become a must-attend event for club members and Porsche enthusiasts during Monterey Car Week. In response to demand to replicate the show on the East Coast, PCA has taken its winning formula to Amelia Island, Florida.

PCA—The classic car market in general seems to be in the process of experiencing a soft-landing from its 2014-15 peak. In particular, buyers in the upper reaches of the market ($500,000 and up) seem reluctant to spend unless the quality of the car is unimpeachable and the opportunity is close to unrepeatable.

Road & Track—Today, RUF introduced the 2017 CTR. It's a bespoke carbon fiber masterpiece that's meant as an homage to the 30th anniversary of the original CTR Yellowbird. The new car, with 710 horsepower, carbon fiber construction, and a 225 mph top speed is tantalizing, but the original is truly legendary in the car world.
 
Jalopnik—Will they or won’t they have a manual transmission on the 911? What about the engine? Will the next 911 be mid-engine or no? But Porsche told an outlet “maybe” or “we’ll consider it” last month and they took it as the supreme gospel truth? Let’s face it, everybody, Porsche is the world’s biggest troll.

Road & Track—Have you heard the news? Porsche is going to offer a manual transmission on its facelifted 911 GT3. But not on the next GT3 RS. This is a big deal because you couldn't get a proper stick shift on the first iteration of the 991-generation GT3.

Jay Leno's Garage via YouTube—Three-time ALMS GT and winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans Patrick Long stops by the garage with his brain-child, a 1985 Porsche 911 Carrera that he transformed into an East African Safari Rally car and Jay is ready to put it through its paces.

Motor1—Porsche appears to be dialing up the horsepower for the upcoming 911 GT2 but also softening the model’s widow maker persona. Porsche CEO Oliver Blume dropped a few details to CarAdvice about the most powerful 911 variant ahead of the model’s possible debut sometime this year.
 
Motor1—At first glance it would seem the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo is a proper wagon. And why not? It has four doors, a rear hatch, a rear seat that folds down, and a longer roof. Peruse through the recent press release on the Sport Turismo, however, and you’ll not find a single mention of the word.

Motor1—The next-generation Porsche 911, which reportedly has the internal designation 992, is showing off its wider body in new spy shots that catch the upcoming sports coupe enjoying a little sunshine.
 
Motor1—Porsche Cars North America has announced a series of recalls for most of its current models. All the campaigns are linked to a possible increased risk of injuries, with the first affecting 2017 911 Carrera Cabriolet, 911 Carrera 4 Cabriolet, 911 Carrera 4S Cabriolet, 911 Carrera S Cabriolet, 911 Targa S, 911 Targa 4S, 911 Turbo Cabriolet, 718 Boxter, and 718 Boxter S vehicles.

The Drive—With its 300-plus mile range and sub-four second 0-60 mile-per-hour acceleration, the upcoming all-electric Porsche Mission E sedan will likely be the Tesla Model S's first honest-to-God competitor when the Bavarian EV hits the market in the next couple years.
