PCA—Saturday night’s Victory Banquet marked the end of this year’s Porsche Parade at Jay Peak, Vermont, which was hosted and enjoyed by roughly 1,800 PCA members. Like all Parades that came before it, this one was made a reality by hundreds of PCA member-volunteers.

PCA—Porsche Parade in Jay Peak, Vermont was a bit like Parade in French Lick, Indiana last year: It was off the beaten path — in rural Vermont less than 15 miles from the Canadian border. The venue is a ski resort. Yet 1,800 members and hundreds of Porsches flooded the area for great times and competition.

PCA—Today Porsche President and CEO Oliver Blume introduced the new 2017 Panamera Turbo and 4S in Berlin, bringing in a totally new generation of Porsche’s sedan.

Newport Dispatch News—Jay Peak Resort was allowed to reopen its aerial tram Saturday for summer operations after the state had earlier ordered it temporarily shut down.

PCA—Werks Reunion, the premier Porsche event during “Monterey Car Week,” is back on August 19. The concours and car show at Rancho Cañada Golf Club is free to spectators and will have a field of up to 1,000 Porsches, with 924/944/968 and 928 as the featured model ranges.

Car and Driver—A thorough redo of the Boxster is here, though after spending a week with the outgoing Spyder, we have to conclude that nothing needed fixing. A close kin to the Cayman GT4, the Spyder is a limited-production model that borrows the 911’s engine.

The News Wheel—Porsche is finally returning to simracing after spending 12 long years away from the genre. Kunos Simulazioni, the Italian developer behind Assetto Corsa, has announced it has come to an agreement with Porsche that will see cars like the 918 Spyder and 919 Hybrid added to the lineup offered in the game.
