and RM are bringing incredible special collections that we’ve highlighted previously. In fact, the Amelia Island auctions this year have what is likely the most incredible and wide-ranging assortment of Porsches for sale that we’ve seen at auction. Because of this, picking just five to highlight winds up being an essentially random task. Autoblog—Stefan Weckbach, the head of electric vehicles at Porsche, devoted an interview to filling in more of the Mission E picture. The guiding principle behind the battery-powered four-door sports sedan with room for four people is to "deliver on the promises customers are familiar with from our conventionally powered vehicles." The company's hired more than 1,000 employees to work on
combining future powertrains with modern detailing, so the Mission E buyer can expect thought-out details such as recesses built into the battery compartment and the floor to provide more legroom for backseat passengers. | | |

Perhaps that’s because only 500 of this limited edition Carrara White model were produced, and just 38 were delivered in the USA and 12 in Canada. My local dealer just outside Toronto sold five of them, so you could say they’re pretty common around here! I often get asked about the number plate, S PD ED2, and usually respond by asking people to look at the car for
