PCA—Join your fellow Porsche Club of America members at the 62nd Porsche Parade on July 9-15, 2017. Parade is PCA’s annual, weeklong event enjoyed by several thousand of your fellow members, who will gather this year in Spokane, Washington.

PCA—PCA’s Treffen North America continues with Treffen Hill Country at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort located outside of Austin, Texas. The event will feature luxurious accommodations and exotic “foodie” delicacies from March 29 through April 2, 2017 — and now, on the night of March 30, a welcome reception presented by Pirelli at Circuit of the Americas with delicious food and two hours of parade laps.

PCA—We have more than 500 Porsches registered for Werks Reunion Amelia Island — surpassing registrations for the first Werks Monterey in 2014. If you plan to display your Porsche, head over to WerksReunion.com to register. If you register by February 16 at 12 PM EST, you will be entered to win a set of Pirelli street tires. All attendees who register before the event will be entered into a raffle of more tires as well as a VIP trip to the Oldtimer Grand Prix at the Nürburgring.

Rennlist—In 1977, Porsche lover and determined do-it-youself-er Kevin Murray, who was recently profiled by Chicago’s Daily Herald, purchased a rather ugly, unrestored Porsche 356. In his own words, the “baby-poop brown” color was appalling and the car needed many things done to it.

PCA—Tech Tactics East will be held at the Porsche Cars North America training facility in Easton, PA on Saturday, February 18, and Sunday, February 19, 2017. Registration is open at the following links. There  are only a few spots left on Sunday — register by Feb. 16.
 
PCA—More than 400 Porsches competed at one of the largest Porsche Club of America (PCA) Club Racing events of the year over the weekend, kicking off the 2017 PCA Club Racing season.

Riding shotgun in an old Alfa roadster we pull into a service station with a pack of vintage sports cars in tow, up to our elbows in smiles and road grime. My phone vibrates, my driver's phone vibrates, I look up to see the other drivers reading their phones. Jordan is dead.
 
Jalopnik—I went in thinking I would prefer the Porsche. I generally like Porsches, because they're subtle, and understated, and they don't like to be the center of attention, just like me. I wear old t-shirts. Porsches are for people who wear old t-shirts. Ferraris are for people who wear form-fitting silk shirts with dragons on them.

Motor1—We’re still a while out from the debut of an all-new 911, but that isn’t stopping Stuttgart from trotting out its all-new prototype a few months early – and in the snow, no less. This new spy video shows the upcoming 992 generation Porsche 911 coupe frolicking in the snow, and exercising its pipes in the process.

Road & Track—At first glance, the car you see above may look like a normal 911 RSR, Porsche's factory-built customer race car. Sure, its current background in a suburban driveway might seem a little out of place, but all of the appointments are there. Huge fender flares, a giant rear wing, a roll cage, and even a digital racing gauge cluster—it has it all. But somehow, this car isn't an RSR at all. It's actually a 996 Cabriolet underneath. Wait, what?
 
The Smoking Tire via YouTube—This Porsche Macan S, owned by Matt's housemate Nick, has been modified slightly with a "no-name" brand catback exhaust, Michelin snow tires for winter ski trips, and COBB Tuning's new Accessport and software. On 91 Octane,, the COBB software shows gains of 38 horsepower and 75 lb/ft at the wheels.

Car and Driver—Gooding & Company is parading a trio of unique racing-oriented machines across the block at this year’s Amelia Island auction on March 10, including a pair of rare Porsche 911s and a Mazda with Le Mans history.
 
Black Flag via Jalopnik—“Is that a stock car?” the Tim Hortons server asked, which seemed a perfectly reasonable thing to say when a race car comes to a drive-thru in Kentucky. Motor1—Sitting in Los Angeles traffic affords plenty of car-spotting opportunities to break up the monotony. It’s usually a nicely patina’d Datsun or an E30 with fender flares catching my eye, but on this day I saw something of a wholly different breed. Four cars back I had my first glimpse, just the side of the fender sticking out. I could tell it was a Porsche but there was something just a bit different about it. Something I thought I might recognize.
 
Car and Driver—The 991.2 generation of Porsche 911 has been given the GTS treatment and the end result just might be the perfect sweet spot.

Goodwood Road & Racing via YouTube—Re-live the full throttle Group 5 demo from last year's #74MM, as rare Ferrari 512s, Porsche 917s, Lola T70s and more screamed past spectators in one of the weekend's most spectacular shows.
 
Motor1—It was only a few days ago when Porsche introduced a Platinum Edition of its two Cayenne S models and now our spy photographers have spotted a barely camouflaged prototype of the next generation.
 
Jalopnik—The seller of today’s Nice Price or Crack Pipe Porsche calls it “probably the most significant 914-6 find in recent years.” He’s certainly priced it as such, and we’ll now need to decide if we find that price to be too significant.

Our Ride Life via YouTube—Porsche and Le Mans are perfect together. This documentary looks at the history of Porsche's 18 overall victories with interviews from many of the drivers that wan at the famed 24 Hours of Le Mans. There is also plenty of footage of both the new and classic Porsche race cars.
 
Road & Track—We're big eBay fans here at R&T. In case you weren't aware, once a week we update a running list of rare or ridiculous vehicles we find on the site. We've found celebrity-owned machines, actual race cars, terrible knockoff replicas, and even a Batmobile. But the weirdest thing we've found on eBay Motors isn't a car. It's the makings of an entire replica car manufacturer, and it can be yours for $250,000.

Car and Driver—True sports-car lovers drive their machines through all seasons, and Porsche has been touting the year-round abilities of its vehicles at least since it introduced the 964 generation of the 911 with all-wheel drive in 1991.

Motor1—Why We Remember It Now:

A 911 like no other, the Panamericana will go down in history as one of the most unusual cars ever to wear the Porsche crest.
 
Jalopnik—A Porsche executive was once asked why his company didn’t offer an entry-level car, to which he responded “we do, it’s called a used Porsche.” Today’s Nice Price or Crack Pipe 944 is a used Porsche, but will it’s price let it level up?

USA Today—Volkswagen Group attacked its former chairman and Porsche family titan for reportedly accusing VW's ex-CEO of lying about the automaker's emissions scandal and for reportedly saying that he told board members about emissions concerns long before they've acknowledged discovering the matter.
