PCA—In our last video, we covered the general subject of what the intermediate shaft (IMS) and the IMS bearing are and the functions they serve in Porsche's first water-cooled flat-six engines. In this second video, we show you ways you can reduce the wear of an original-style IMS bearing in the chance that you still have one in your 1997-2008 911 or Boxster.

PCA—Early December is a special time for many people, especially so for those invited to Porsche’s annual Night of Champions dinner. For 2017 PCA Club Racing Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport Trophy East Series Champion Curt Swearingin, it meant a European vacation with his wife Shawnan that probably wouldn’t have happened without Porsche. Though the invite was dependent on a championship-winning performance at the end of the race season, Swearingin had been planning this trip for over a year.

PCA—The first RS — the Porsche 911 Carrera RS 2.7 of 1973 — was a means to getting the 911 Carrera RSR (RennSport Rennwagen) homologated for FIA Group 4 racing. This book tells the story of the later Type 964 Carrera RS 3.8 and its RSR competition sibling.

PCA—The world-renowned 56th Rolex 24 at Daytona is scheduled for January 25-28, 2018 at Daytona International Speedway, Daytona Beach, Florida.  PCA welcomes all PCA members, Porsche owners, and their guests to the PCA Car Corral Hospitality Tent, located trackside infield at "The Kink" (Turn 5).
 
Rennlist—By now, we know pretty much everything there is to know about Porsche’s first fully-electric vehicle, the Mission E. But what we don’t know is exactly what it’s going to look like. Sure, we’ve been able to lay eyes on the concept for a couple of years now. And we’ve seen a number of test mules out and about on public streets and the Nürburgring. But the production version will vary from the original concept, and the mules carry heavy camouflage. So we took everything we know about the Mission E and had our resident artist whip up a rendering.

PCA—Save the date! Porsche Parade 2018: Lake of the Ozarks, will take place July 8-14, 2018, at the Tan-Tar-A Resort in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Phase 1 Housing Registration opens Jan. 29, 2018 at 12 PM EST. This is separate from Phase 2 Event Registration, which will open at a later date.

In recent years, we have seen the R32 Nissan GT-R become federally legal in the US, and prices have doubled. Porsche Panorama wants to hear from you!
PCA—The editors of Panorama are working on some stories and they need your help: We’d love to tell the story of the long-time connection between pilots and Porsches. From the service men and women who discovered Porsches while based in West Germany in the 1950s to the present. If you’re an Air Force pilot or a Naval Aviator, or if there’s one in your family, we’d love to make it part of this story. Photos are key, we’d love some shots of the Porsche and its pilot owner taken with the planes that he or she flew (or flies).

We’re also looking for a really special Cayenne. One that’s been a family member for a long time, a Cayenne that’s been everywhere and done everything. Preferably one with crazy high miles. If you think you might be the owner of that Cayenne and have some great stories to tell, let us know! If so, please contact us below.
