1. Carrera T is the lightest Porsche 911, comes with performance mods standard

PCA—In the quest to appeal to driving enthusiasts, Porsche is starting to give us versions of the 911 that aren’t necessarily designed to turn the quickest lap times, but instead embrace the three-pedal manual transmission, light weight, and the unadorned shape of everybody’s favorite rear-engined sports car. This might sound like another GT3 Touring Pack variant, but we’re actually referencing the new 911 Carrera T.

PCA—The Porsche market post-Pebble Beach continues to be arguably the most active and interesting in the collector car world. Stability and a return to more of a buyer’s market has been the watchword since we last looked at it in July. Here are five more Porsches that you might consider putting in your garage sooner rather than later.

3. Six spooky car noises [w/video]

PCA—Porsches can be scary, as we’ve noted in a previous article, but what about the spooky noises that they can make? The ones that sound like impending doom and a whole lot of money. Here we’ll cover some of those noises that send a chill down your spine and might indicate that your car needs some TLC. (Happy Halloween!)

4. Porsche 911 GT2 RS laps Nürburgring in 6:47.3, a road-legal production car record [w/video]

PCA—It seems like Nürburgring Nordschleife lap times have been falling at an exponential pace lately, and Porsche has always preferred to have the fastest car around the 12.8-mile track in Germany. Not to be outdone by the competition, the automaker’s new 911 GT2 RS just set the production car lap record, a physics-defying 6 minutes and 47.3 seconds, on September 20.

5. Enter Fall 2017 Member Only Raffle for chance to win Porsche 911 Carrera T

PCA—PCA members, it's the time of year for the Fall 2017 Member Only Raffle! PCA will be giving away at least one grand prize, a Porsche 911 Carrera T plus $25,000 cash. As with all PCA Member Only Raffles, there's a chance to add more grand prizes dependent on ticket sales. After initial 8,500 entries, another grand prize will be added for every additional 4,000 entries sold.
