PCA—On Thursday Discovery channel will premiere "Porsche 911: An Icon in Evolution" on Thursday at 10 PM, a half-hour program that delves into the differences between the 991-1 generation Carrera and the revised turbocharged 991-2 911. Tommy Kendall hosts, while Porsche Factory Driver Patrick Long, Indy Champion Danny Sullivan, and racer/TV personality Justin Bell join in on the fun along with two Porsche Club of America

car and its four-cylinder turbo motor.

Yahoo! Autos—Porsche never built a drop-top version of its first supercar, the legendary 959, but as the saying goes, where there's a will and a wrecked Porsche, there's a way. One German shop decided to turn a crunched 1987 959 into a cabriolet, and now it's for sale at a dealership in Italy. The price? Reportedly, a little over $1.1 million.
