PCA—You may remember back in October when Petrolicious profiled Matt Hummel and his 1956 Porsche 356 being driven both on and off road. The filmmaker behind that video delved into Hummel’s story a bit further for his latest creation on the new Praemio YouTube channel.

Seven rare Porsches from the Harris Collection will be at Parade

PCA—Porsche Parade is a haven for PCA members who want to socialize with people and see all types of Porsches, and this year's event in Jay, Vermont will be no exception. Seven rare Porsches from the Harris Collection are scheduled to join hundreds of other cars at the concours d'elegance on Monday, June 20.

PCA—Phase 2: Event Registration without a $60 late fee is open to PCA members through May 21. Registration closes June 5. Everyone attending Parade will need to participate in Phase 2 Event Registration to select their meals and activities for the week.

What If Porsche's New Le Mans Race Car Isn't a 911?

Road & Track—Yesterday, Porsche showed the front end of the car that it calls "the successor to the 911 RSR." The new car is never called "the 2017 911 RSR" or "new 911 RSR" or "911 GTE race car." As friend of Road & Track Phil McGovern points out, the car is simply referred to as the "2017 GTE race car" or "the RSR successor." Porsche's language to describe it is very deliberate. Why isn't it called a specific model? If it's a 911, why doesn't Porsche just say it? There's something curious here.
