PCA—This all-original 1967 911S was nearly perfect when PCA member Henry Wilkinson found it a few years ago. It was the prized possession of its original owner for more than 45 years, but Wilkinson didn't want a nearly perfect one-owner car. He wanted a perfect one-owner car.

The Drive—​​​​​​​The word "chimera" has been bouncing around the news for the last few days, ever since the National Institute of Health announced it would allow researchers to create embryos that combine human stem cells with other animal tissues—or, as those hybrids are commonly called, chimeras. We bring this up only because the term also does a pretty good job describing the odd Porsche Panamera-Cayenne fusion seen in recent spy shots.

While we have a perfect 50/50 mix of motorcycles and cars, the differences don’t stop at the number of wheels: one book takes a look at the big picture and casts a wide gaze toward Ducati’s finest, while the other is all about a single Porsche family that’s been traditionally overlooked.

MultiBriefs—As the driver of a 1976 911S, I find Porsche ownership quite fulfilling. I love driving to work on crisp fall mornings or sunny spring afternoons. I enjoy chatting with other car lovers who admire my German-engineered ride and have their own stories to tell about their vintage vehicles.

Business Insider—If you want to, you can talk yourself out of a lot of things in life. But it doesn't last — you always come back to fundamentals.

Take the Porsche 911. I last drove one about two years ago, a 911 4S Cabriolet, and it was all it should have been, a "drive for your life car" that serves up impeccable performance with a German pedigree. It showed no indications of letting me down behind the wheel.
