1. New Porsche 911 Carrera T introduced at the LA Auto Show

PCA—Porsche introduced the new Carrera T on Wednesday at the Los Angeles International Auto Show. The nomenclature may be reminiscent of the 911T, which was the base 911 in the U.S. from 1969-73, but in reality, the designation is where the similarity ends.

2. Model Guide: Type 987 — Boxster matures, Cayman coupe launches

PCA—The second-generation Boxster (987) came to the US market as a 2005 model — along with the 997 Carrera — following the very successful run of the first water-cooled flat-six powered cars from Porsche: the Boxster (986) and Carrera (996) models.

3. Video: The Tesla Model S P100D - Chris Harris Drives

Top Gear via YouTube—Here we are at last: Chris Harris takes on the might of the Tesla Model S. And it’s not just any Model S, but the Big Daddy: the P100D. First up, a date with a Porsche 911R in a drag race, to test the credentials of Tesla’s lightspeed acceleration.

4. Stolen Porsche Found At The Base Of A Cliff After Being Missing For 27 Years

Jalopnik—A 1979 Porsche 924 stolen from a Medford, Oregon, parking lot in 1991 has finally been found at the base of a cliff southwest of Crater Lake, reports KOMO. From the looks of the car, it certainly didn’t have the most pleasant trip down there.

5. Barnfinding: Anatomy of a Porsche barn find

PCA—One of the best parts of my job is finding a large stash of Porsche parts and cars, but it can also be one of the worst parts, too. The hardest part is finding those long-lost stashes because they normally aren’t advertised. We finished up a two-truckload deal a couple weekends ago, and while everything was fresh on my mind I wanted to write up a breakdown of what a large deal entails.
