I am so excited for the upcoming DreamBuilder Coaching Group that is starting on January 21st!
It is human nature for you to want more and to want to succeed. However, what I have noticed is that it is also human nature to look to your past to determine what you can do today. What I have discovered is that this way of thinking can be a bad habit because if you didn’t like
your past results, you’ll get stuck in a negative spiral of self-talk that doesn’t support the vision you are holding for your life now.
In studying the DreamBuilder program and being a student and a coach, I learned three keys to increase my sense of deserving. I want to share these keys so you get a flavor of how the DreamBuilder helps you manifest your dreams.
Here are three keys to increase your sense of deserving:
- Focus on the good.
Circumstances are bad only if you perceive them as such. Instead of panicking when life appears to throw you a curve, wait and invite God to reveal the good. Then give yourself the same benefit of the doubt. You are naturally good because God created
you.
- Let go of past mistakes.
It’s hard to move confidently into the life you have imagined if you are lugging dead weight. When you persist in carrying the baggage of your childhood, your shame or your belief that you are unlovable, you have no room for greater possibility. Let go of
encumbrances by identifying and releasing your “baggage.”
- Practice gratitude to increase your sense of deserving.
An “attitude of gratitude” enables you to construct your dream on a solid foundation of deserving. Begin by spending a day giving thanks to those you’ve criticized. From there, build a pattern of daily gratitude. When we begin to appreciate those we once
condemned or took for granted, the field around the object of our appreciation broadens, attracting to itself even greater good.
As I have practiced these three principles, I have felt my sense of deserving expand and I have received unexpected good things flowing into my life! I am so thankful and grateful for this!
