Hi
Isn't it interesting that when you are in a place of growth, expansion and moving towards success, fear will come up! So, what happens when fear shows up, do you allow the fear thoughts to think for you and cause you to stop what you are doing or do you come from the heart and continue moving past the fear? Fear wants to stop you from moving forward.
Fear is an emotion that is present anytime you make a change, especially if the change is something new and you are uncertain of the end results. I have dealt with fear many times during my life and career changes. If you give into the fear, you will continue to stay in the same place. And, I know that that is something you do not want!
I noticed that when I placed my focus on what I wanted instead of what I didn't want, things started to change! I learned to focus on the change that I wanted and I received support from my mentor/coaches. The support was important in me keeping my focus and taking one step at a time. That was my way of moving past my fears in creating new changes.
As I moved towards my goals with support from a coach or mentor, I increased my confidence in taking new empowering actions. I experienced many breakthroughs in achieving goals. One of the breakthroughs was learning to befriend my fear. I learned about befriending my fear through the DreamBuilder program. Later, I received the training and became a certified DreamBuilder Coach. I am so grateful for the learning and tools I received
through the DreamBuilder process in shifting my perception about fear and how I handle it now!
Fear is feedback letting you know you are at the edge of the life you have known. Fear doesn't mean you can't, it simply means you haven't.
In moving towards your dream, you will be called to step outside of the life you've known. You will be asked to step outside of your comfort zone. Why? Because your success, your dreams are beyond your comfort zone.
Your level of success is directly proportional to your ability to tolerate discomfort and your ability to use fear to move forward.
Realize that the future is a context, not a reality; the present moment is the only reality! Another thing I have learned is that you will not change your results with your own will power, or when you "figure it out." We need a support system to move forward.
What is your dream that you want to start creating in 2019?
To Your Success,
