How I Made Toronto's CN Tower VANISH!

Published: Fri, 05/13/16

I love magic.

And I want to do everything I can to inspire more respect and appreciation for the art and science of 'creating mystery.'

Which is why, for more than 25 years, I've performed shows, written books, presented lectures and produced tutorial videos.

The US Congress recently introduced a bill recognizing magic as a "rare a valuable art form on par with dance, theatre and film."

But I don't believe all the fake magic featured on film and television, nurtures a greater appreciation of what it REALLY takes to inspire people to believe in the unbelievable.

So I produced 'HOW I MADE TORONTO'S CN TOWER VANISH,' to let people inside the fascinating psychology and creativity of what we do as real-life illusionists.

I've gotta admit, working with the production crew of 18 people, was the most pressure I've ever felt in my life!

And to design and execute the illusion, we had to deal with MANY more obstacles and challenges than I expected.

But it was SO worth it!

A big, heart-felt thanks to Chris Mayhew, Andy Berry, Rachel Fischer, Rob Testa, Nathan Kranzo, Bobby Motta, and the amazing staff, producers and crew at Cream Productions.

The 'COMPLETE EPISODE' version of the video just focuses on the CN Tower vanish.

But the full-length 'DIRECTOR'S CUT' features the CN Tower vanish, PLUS a lot more psychology, secret principles, and behind-the-scenes information.

If you enjoy the video, and want to help me inspire more appreciation for the REAL art and science of 'creating mystery,' please share the link to the 'Official Preview' on your social media.

If each of us (in our own small way) do what we can to inspire more respect for the art of deception...who knows?

Maybe one day, when you're at a party, and tell people you're a magician, "I wish I had brought the kids!" won't be the first thing they say. :)

Long live real magic,

Jay
