Good morning I hope you had a good Bank Holiday and where ever you were you managed to get sunshine.  I had a few days in Wales and the weather was fab. The bonus for me was WiFi was limited so I did something I don't normally do and actually switched off and tried not to think about work etc.  I have to admit I found it hard at first I can't believe how many times I would normally check my phone. Today's newsletter includes an article re fat and I have added my Fitness Timetable for June. Thanks to those who responded re classes they would like to see in my timetable.  I am looking at adding extra classes for September and will let you know. Have a great weekend Love Paula xx

IS FAT GOOD FOR YOU?

The answer to the question yes it is.

Over the last few weeks you will have seen the big debate about eating fats.

How did you find the debate?

Are you confused?

There was so much to take in.

It boils down to this really:

"Good" fats consist of nuts, avocado, coconut oil,  grass-fed cows butter (eg Kerry Gold) and unheated, untreated oils, eg olive oil, nut oil.

"BAD" fats are those trans-fats - fats which have been chemically altered within processed foods & spreads, cakes, biscuits & crisps etc.

SATURATED fats are not bad for you - this research is MANY YEARS OLD and has since been found to be incorrect!

You would have to consume a ridiculous amount of coconut oil or butter (saturated fats) per day, for it to have any negative effects on your health!

Both these fats have many health benefits and we should be adding them into our diet, for HEALTH.

Fats fill you up, making you feel satisfied and are utilised in so many cells of the body, that we MUST include them in a healthy diet....ignore the scaremongers!

(Your brain is 60% fat, some vitamins are fat soluble and fats are also needed to produce those pesky hormones !!)

Eating a healthy diet including lots of good fats, will allow your metabolism to work like a well-oiled engine and

YES, drop the body fat.

.........You've just got to give up the biscuits!!! Sorry
