Capoeira, An Expression of Freedom!

From the roots and traditions of Mestre Jelon Viera we present Capoeira Luanda. Bringing to life and celebrating the Angolan roots that helped shape the exploding cultural art we now know as capoeira.

Luanda celebrates and honors those Capoeristas that came before us, our mentors in the present and welcomes those who have yet to discover capoeira.

Classes available for adults and kids starting at 2 years old.

..."I've been taking capoeira classes for about a year at the BAF, and I am continually impressed by the positive energy and amiable atmosphere. Mauricio brings great expertise and leadership, gathering together a wonderful group of students and capoeiristas.

Classes at BAF mix an appropriate reverence for the history and depth of capoeira practice with a sense of fun and play. It's a place where you feel welcome"...
