If you've been interested in getting certified in Beyond Bullet Points, here's your chance to get a jump start and get trained in an accelerated format. If you attend both the BBP 101 and BBP Advanced courses on Nov. 11 and 12 in Los Angeles, you're invited to attend a third day of basic certification training on Nov. 13 - at no charge! The day will focus on teaching you to teach others how to apply BBP, and you'll end the day with an assignment to later deliver your own 1-hour training webinar on the BBP website. When you're done, we'll issue you a certificate indicating that you've completed the basic certification program.
Next Workshop: Using Mindmapping to Structure a BBP Story
When you start working on a presentation, you've got a range of tools in your BBP toolkit to structure your ideas.
Join us at 9am Pacific on Friday, Sept. 3, 2010, and you'll learn how to use mindmapping - a non-linear brainstorming tool that takes you away from a piece of paper and into a more fluid, organic way of brainstorming and organizing ideas.
During the workshop I'll be working with BBP member Richard on developing a course using the mindmapping tool called MindManager.

New Video: How to Move Beyond Stock Photography
In the first wave of presentation improvement, we moved beyond bullet points toward a more photographic approach. But now many presentations look like they are on stock photography overload, with one photo appearing after another like a slide carousel, with no coherent story that ties all of the different pictures together.
