The great thing about being an entrepreneur is owning your “own” business.
Your business just doesn’t happen to you, you get to plan it. You get to decide what
goals to set, you get to decide how much money you want to make, you get to decide
how to take action, how consistent you want to be, how far you want to go ! You get
to plan it all!


As we move into this important “golden” months of the year, I wanted to share
some things to think about planning your next steps to being super productive in
these busy months.


What’s interesting is that some people have very big plans and some people
have no plans, so the decision is what do you really want to achieve in your business
in the next three months? Sometimes we set goals without a plan of action and
that’s why planning is so important. I believe, you can’t have a successful business if
you don’t have a plan and know how to take the action steps to get there.

Recently, I held a PLANNING PARTY with my L.E.A.P. Group coaching leaders.
We focused on a brain dump to get all those ideas down on paper, then we moved
through a goal setting process that brings clarity on what they truly want. During
this process we established important action steps. Lastly, we looked at ways to
stay on track and keep the balance working with a calendar structure. Now, my
coaching students have a guideline to work with and I’m their right alongside them
to help them be accountable to achieve the success they want.

The first step to planning is you have to make a decision about what you want to
achieve with your business over the next three months. You have to make the
decision that you’re going to commit to making a plan and take responsibility for it.

So many times, I see people set goals for themselves but without a plan of
execution.
You can’t have a successful business if you don’t have a plan and know
how to take the action steps to get there. Right now, think about ONE THING, you
want in your business! Just ONE! Write it down.
  • What would it be?
  • Think about that one thing.
  • What is your plan for getting it?
  • Do you know what that plan is?
  • Would you know what step one would be to achieve it?

If I were to see your answer I could probably tell you pretty accurately
whether you
will get it or not based on how you plan. When you go through my
planning process we break down your dreams and goals into segments and then we
move through a scheduling technique that helps you get things done!​​​​​​​
This is how I sit down and create my two important CALENDAR workbooks every year. The next 2017 Direct Sales Planner workbook and 2017 CALENDAR GIRLS Team Booking system workbook are due to come out

When I make a plan, I know exactly what to do and I schedule each step on my
calendar.
I think a lot of times we don’t achieve our goals is because we are not
sure of what actions to take. When you have action steps that are scheduled, you
plan to succeed.


One of my favorite quotes is “Big things happen one day at a time!” When I
planned my trip to walk across England, I began by scheduling how many times I
would walk each week to build up stamina to make those 15 miles a day.
Scheduling is how I balance my business and my life. I find so many people think
about things and don’t schedule them in. When I plan and schedule my time each week I know what I’m doing today. I know what I’m going to do tomorrow? Scheduling is always part of my planning, and again I
believe, it is this power that gets things done!


The power of planning is deliberately taking the time to accomplish what you want in your business. If you think it’s too constraining to have a plan, remember this.



If you have no plan, you are on a path of “hoping” to get there. 


But, if you have a plan and you schedule the steps and you know exactly what the outcome will be when you get there, then you are 

giving yourself a gift!
