leads.
In July 1st 2014 Canada enacted a law stating that any email subscribers need to be added via double optin (i.e. you send a confirmation email - aka. list building SUICIDE...)
They gave a 36 month transition/grace period..
which ends very soon (July 1st 2017!)
Which means, if you have an optin code on your blog right now - and someone from Canada opts in and you, like most marketers... are using single optin.
You will be liable for $1M-$10M in fines.
