Bold Living Weekend

Happy Friday!
Welcome to the Weekend.

Dear ,

I really hope you've had a good week. No, not just a good week -- an amazing, passionate, bold week!

Can you claim that at least part of your week was passion-filled (no, not THAT kind of passion!!)?

Did you work on something that inspired you or put you in the flow where you lose track of time?

If you'd asked me these questions several years ago, I wouldn't have had the answers for myself.

But now I understand the amazing power of living your life passion. I understand how it's like eating tofu all your life and then someone offers you a gourmet meal. You didn't know how much better food could be! It's the same with life passion.

Living your passion through work is life-changing (that's a huge chunk of your day). But if you can't change careers, you can live it in other ways too -- through a hobby, avocation, volunteer work, or lifestyle shift.

If you don't have enough passion in your life, I highly recommend you figure out what your passion is and then go live it!

Wishing you a passion-filled weekend!

Warmly,

Barrie

A 5-Step Simple Plan for Dealing with Criticism

I have bristles. You probably have them too. They come out when someone says something to me that is critical or that I interpret as a criticism. When they are activated, these bristles set off a chain of internal feelings, thoughts, and physical symptoms. It's amazing how one comment can't set this complicated system in [...]

Bold Living Weekend

Happy Friday!
Welcome to the Weekend.

Dear ,

Have I told you lately how grateful I am that you are part of the Live Bold and Bloom community?

Well, I am! When I reflect on what brings me the most joy in life, one of the top things on my list is the work I do on my blog and being able to connect with people like you all over the world.

Our world is really not so large after all. We have more in common and more to connect us than we think.

We all want to live as close to our potential as we possibly can. We want to live passionately, with a sense of purpose and joy. We want loving relationships and meaningful experiences.

I am so glad we are working together to make these things happen. I so happy that we share the same desire to live boldly and bloom beautifully!

Wishing you a joy-filled weekend!

Warmly,

Barrie

How to Put Your Life in Perspective in 30 Seconds

If you want to let go of worry and stop focusing on problems or disappointments, take a look at these images below. Make the most of your beautiful life, and keep things in perspective!

Look at this image of Earth in relation to the inner planets, including Pluto, which is quite a dwarf planet. We look pretty sizable here.

Now look at Earth compared to all of the planets in our Solar System. It could be boil on the nose of Jupiter. Pluto looks like a joke. Imagine if Jupiter were inhabited!

Ok, here we are compared to the Sun. Our Sun is known as a G2 star -- just one of 100 million stars just in our galaxy. We are a speck on a speck.

Now look at our Sun compared to some other stars. Earth can't even be seen with the naked eye.

Here are a few more super jumbo stars. Arcturus, the largest star in the previous image, is the tiny star to the left of the white star. In this image, our Sun can't be seen with the naked eye.

Bold Life Tip

Life is not linear. Our capacity for growth and renewal is constant, regardless of age. Keep things in perspective and remember the boundless opportunities available to you every day.
