Dear Friends,
The above poem was declared by a Jewish woman 2000 years ago after she received the news that she was to give birth to Israel's Messiah. Mary knew that her child would be God's way of helping Israel and the entire world, in fulfillment of His promises to Abraham. Christmas is a time to not only thank God for sending His Son, but also a time to remember the incredible ways in which the Jewish people have blessed the world. The greatest gift the world will even know came through the Jewish people, just as God promised (Genesis 12:3) .
The following are some of the ways in which Christians for Israel Canada is committed to being God's hand extended, helping the people of Israel. It's the least we can do in light of the blessing they have been and continue to be in our world!
NOVEMBER FILMING TRIP TO ISRAEL - A SUCCESS!
Our small film crew spent the latter part of November 2011 filming in the land of Israel and has safely returned, completely amazed at how God's hand guided them. The team consisted of four: Rev. Dr. John Tweedie (Chairman, C4I Canada), his wife, Clare, Chris Atkins (Filmmaker) and Laura Delegarde (Creative Director, C4I Canada). The team was small and the mission was huge! They intended to research and gather footage for our up-coming documentary about Jerusalem, to film 10 TV episodes for our soon-to-come TV series, and to visit the projects that C4I Canada supports, while capturing our projects on film for promotional purposes. In just two weeks the mission was more than accomplished and you will be able to enjoy the fruit of their labours in 2012!
