CORVETTES AT CARLISLE AUGUST 26TH - 28TH

Now that the northeast felt the rumble, or earthquake, it's time to relax and enjoy a fun-filled weekend with your Corvette and Corvette friends! If you're trying to figure out if you'll attend or not, be sure not to miss the event - we have a lot in store . The weather looks to be promising, low to mid 80's each day, and we're looking forward to seeing many of you this weekend. A few people have called and/or emailed regarding the hurricane out at sea coming up the coast; the forecast shows for a "chance of rain" on Sunday. The event is a go and we're looking forward to a stellar Corvette weekend. Thank you for your support in advance; life is good!

2011 CORVETTES AT CARLISLE
This week!

It's Corvettes at Carlisle week and ALREADY there are Corvettes on site. We figure some folks need to get a jump start on the week and why not! This year's event will be unlike any other as we celebrate 30 years of our event with 30 years' worth of our friends, both personal and professional. As you make your plans for the show, know that there are a lot of great displays, seminars, special attractions and industry guests to fill your weekend.

THE ROAD TO CARLISLE BLUE

Of course this is the year of blue. From the Road to Carlisle Blue to Carlisle Blue Brew to Carlisle Blue itself, if you're a fan of blue, you'll be delighted in 2011. Be sure to check out the Road to Carlisle Blue special display. We've amassed nearly ever blue color ever produced by Corvette and we'll have a special area just for that array. The feature spans nearly 34 colors, beginning with 1954's Pennant Blue.

CARLISLE BLUE BREW
Carlisle's Market Cross Pub to feature commemorative pale ale

Along with the onsite blue displays, you can take your fun off site for at least three different activities, two of which are Thursday evening. Start your Thursday evening with a trip to Market Cross Pub in downtown Carlisle for the tapping of the keg on a new Pale-Ale - Carlisle Blue Brew. Market Cross is brewing enough for 18 kegs and $.30 of each pint goes to the Chip Miller Charitable Foundation. Special thanks to the Downtown Carlisle Association for helping to plan this special event!

"THE QUEST" TO HAVE ENCORE SHOWING
By popular demand, film will play leading up to Corvettes at Carlisle

Thursday also sees an encore showing of The Quest at the Carlisle Theatre. The movie will start at 8 p.m. and you can buy tickets now for $15 at questdocumentary.com. If you wait and get them at the box office, the cost is $22 - cash only.

CORVETTE PARADE, PARK & PARTY
Presented by the Downtown Carlisle Association

On Saturday, you and thousands more can check out the downtown Corvette Parade, Park & Party, which will feature nearly 400 Corvettes. The parade rolls from the fairgrounds and will converge on the square in Carlisle. Once parked, drivers and enthusiast alike can enjoy the cars, live music and great downtown dining and shopping.
