Recently, someone asked me what is the top thing that has made a difference in my business. Without hesitation, I told her it was three things rolled into one: working with a coach, being part of a mastermind and getting around successful people.
This week I renewed my contract with my coach for another six months. She really didn't have to ask if I was continuing, she could have just sent the paperwork for me to sign because I intend to be with her for a long time!
About a year and a half ago, I had started my business, purchased a domain and hosting, and created my website. However, I didn't know what to do next and I knew it was time to seek the help and advice from someone experienced and who had done what I wanted to do. I made a DECISION to get this help no matter what. I then created a list of what I wanted in a coach: a woman with similar life experiences to mine, fairly close in location and someone who would be fun and yet tough on me. (At that time the only coaches I knew of were much younger, in California and I didn't relate to them at all.)
