Recently I sent out my first "real" newsletter. Feels great to actually and finally get it started after wanting to and thinking about it for so long. Here is how I did it:
1. I stopped bitching about it and made the decision to do it no matter what. I am quite sure my business coach and members of my mastermind group got very tired of hearing me talk about a newsletter but never doing it. This is a classic avoidance behaviour.
2. I stopped overcomplicating the process. This is one of my primary self-sabotage techniques. I went with a simple design and broke it down into very small steps I could cross off one at a time. This helped me see real progress and know when each task was completed.
