6,104 video views + 90 Sales - Yesterday alone...

I've been frustrated more than once this week. Mostly tech stuff, and also stupid marketers (lol). I'm sure you can relate. Both can be a pain when you're working online. ;-)

I shouldn't say "stupid marketers" - that's kinda rude. Apologies. I just mean articles that skew the truth, or write-ups about things that make absolutely no sense... to a REAL entrepreneur.

Back to my point though, and the numbers in the subject line. I had to STOP having so much fun for a minute, and sit down to share some of these numbers with you! It does relate to what I just shared above though...

As you know I've been testing some new video strategies, specifically live video streaming. I got frustrated with my first few attempts at SnapChat (lol) so I'll get back to that. I think I finally figured it out. :) Anyway, I switched over to testing Instagram Video (not live) instead.

I did 5 short videos on Instagram over the course of a couple of days and already have 6,104 views on those videos! I found them to be VERY powerful in terms of engagement with my audience there.

Now we all know... Engagement alone does NOT pay the bills.

I'm simply testing platforms and technology right now, so I can move my high-converting "photostreaming" strategy over to video streaming (too!). I talked about this strategy in my last note note to you, and also gave you some live examples. You can see that here:

That strategy is working very well for me. I'm not using paid advertising, just smart social marketing - all organic, free, easy stuff. And I made 90 sales yesterday alone. I'm not talking about info products either. Those were 90 physical products - real products for real people.

I've made 208 sales this week - that I know of. I haven't gone through all of my stats yet, just looking at the two main products I've been promoting. With almost HALF of those sales made in ONE day! :)

In my blog post yesterday, I explained how I come up with fast easy content ideas - for both social media content and blog posts. It also includes live examples for you:

Between that blog post, and the last email I sent you (link above), you should have enough examples to start copying my strategy - at least on a small scale to start. Which is exactly what I did: test, tweak, scale!

Here's the big take-away I want you to consider today though:

Engagement can't be deposited at the bank. Likes, shares and comments are just "vanity numbers." The only real metric you should be tracking and focused on... is conversions. Period.

Always consider these two things:

1. How can I best serve my market today?

2. What is my end game, my objective?

Ideally your answers will go hand in hand with each other, serving your market while increasing conversions. It's okay to have a little fun with your audience (I do!) and to build on your relationship with them in between product discussions... but all towards a bigger goal. What IS that goal? Even your "engagement posts" should at least inspire, educate, motivate - and lead them toward seeing results by knowing you.

Results = Sales :)

People who are inspired, motivated and seeing results... take more action!

p.p.s. If you're not have FUN in your online business, put some thought into that this weekend. You should be! In fact, you should be having a total blast at it. :) I am! And on that note, I'm off to have some more fun...
