Things Keep Changing. What Should You DO? ...

There is so much change, and so much uproar and controversy, going on in the industry right now. Whether you're just starting an online business, or you've been working online for years, it can be downright confusing - and A LOT to keep up with.

Interestingly, with all of this going on and getting everyone stirred up, Guest Blogging was the topic of my last training module in the Niche Success Blueprint course. Talk about ironic timing, for those that started the weekly training at the beginning of the year - lol...
Actually, it was PERFECT timing. My marketing strategies are evergreen, and there's nothing "sketchy" about how I run my online business. My tip for you today:
Focus more on building a readership (an audience), and building long-term assets, than on "increasing traffic" alone.
What does that mean exactly?
It means you should really focus on building up a responsive email list, a highly engaged social media following, and work on engaging your site visitors or blog readers to take action when on your site (leave a comment, subscribe, become a client or customer, etc).
It's the only way to "Google-Proof" your business. That's exactly what you need to do. Do not depend on search traffic alone. Too many people have learned that the hard way, and really regretted it... :-(
