Are You Going to "Marketing Mayhem" ?

Published: Mon, 10/06/14

Are you planning to attend the Marketing Mayhem Live event this March in San Diego? I attended for the first time in August, and have already booked my ticket for the next one coming up in March. I highly recommend it as THE industry event to attend...

I shared the details on my blog at:

And you can read my recap from the August event here:

I missed it last year due to other obligations, and I *really* regretted it.

When I went in August, it was everything I heard it would be... and even better! I took tons of notes, made some awesome connections, and came home highly motivated and inspired - with an actionable plan outlined.

Given the name of the event ("Marketing Mayhem") and some of the entertainment they bring in (like Vanilla Ice at the last one), some people assume it's just one big wild party. In fact, several people asked me that after I attended in August - knowing how conservative I am, lol.

They put on a great event, and it's tons of fun, but there's nothing wild or "sketchy" about it at all. Even the after-hours events were a great time, and I usually skip those at most events. Especially if they're questionable. :p

E Brian Rose and Bryan Zimmerman are awesome event hosts, and simply offer a lot of great opportunities to hang out and "network" in a safe casual atmosphere.

As for the actual event, the content is top-notch. I can easily say that Marketing Mayhem Live is THE marketing event of the year and the best live event I've attended in ages!

The content definitely gets two thumbs-up from me, which is saying a lot. With more than 17 years experience in online business and marketing, it's hard for me to find an event where even I can take notes and learn new strategies to implement in my own business. Yet at the same time, it was all so practical that anyone on any level would benefit from the content.

It's also GREAT for networking. MML is a who's who event. Some of the best minds (and pioneers) of the industry attend this event. Unlike some events though, there are no cliques. It has a very social atmosphere and everyone there is very open, and very available.

The early bird special won't last long. I believe it's ending in just a few days, actually. You can book your ticket cheap if you get it today, and you still have plenty of time to make your travel plans.

Tip: When you go to order your ticket for the event, you'll get it even cheaper than you think. You'll see what I mean on the checkout page. ;-)

If you're concerned about coming up with the funds...

Now is a great time to brainstorm how you're going to make it happen!

This is definitely an event you want to attend, and the tickets are super cheap right now, but depending on your location you may be considering other travel expenses. That's something I take into consideration anytime I attend live events as well.

What I do is figure out exactly how much the investment will be, and then I come up with a plan to make that money *before* I spend it. And with this event being in March, you have plenty of time to do that!

I'm that way with practically any investment. I prefer to make the money I want to spend upfront - before I spend it - then the return on that investment (ROI) is just a big plus. :)
