Interview; How to quantify the value of coaching..

Coaching may seem to be a waste of money and time to some people. Is there a way to quantify the return on investment so one can see that by spending x amount of dollars on coaching they will be getting some multiple of value back for having done so?

Yes, I can understand how some people may feel this way, however let me present it from another perspective to help quantify it in terms of dollars.
