Hi I'll apologise to any web designers on my list before we go any further as I've posted a blog on my website today entitled 'Most web designers know very little about online marketing'. Of course I don't mean anyone who is on my mailing list :-) I was nervous about publishing the blog as I know some people will read it as 'all' rather than 'most', which is not what I meant as I know some great web designers who are expert online marketers but I've gone ahead with it anyway - a bit of controversy is great for stirring up some online discussion after all! I hope you like the photo I found to go with it too. The other thing I'd like to let you know about is about an ebook that has just been launched for the month of December to raise funds for the Rotary Club in Sidcup. Martin Avis is a successful internet marketer (I have mentioned him before in relation to his newsletter success programme) and he is also very involved with the aforementioned Rotary Club. I'll let him explain what the ebook is all about, but I would thoroughly recommend it; I bought my copy (for $17 so just over £10) and have nearly finished it already; it is really giving me food for thought for what I do in 2010 - and it's not all about Internet Marketing - much of it can be applied in offline businesses too. It has taken two weeks of blood, sweat and tears, but the big day has finally arrived! Yes, 'One Tip...' my latest ebook went on sale at midnight at http://onetip.org 'One Tip...' is a very unusual book - * It has been written by 25 successful Internet marketers * It has zero BS * It is designed and written for one purpose only: to help you succeed in 2010 * It is easily worth three or more times the asking price (and I don't say that lightly) * 100% of the proceed go straight to charity Just over two weeks ago I wrote to all the successful Internet marketers I know. People who do this thing for a living - and live very well as a result. I asked them to answer one question: What would be your #1 tip to help someone succeed in 2010. 25 people answered the call and between them wrote one of the most useful, helpful and effective ebooks of the year. I recommend a lot of ebooks here in Kickstart and often suggest that you should buy. But this time I'll go much further than that. I'm going to BEG that you buy. Please buy 'One Tip...'. Not only will you be getting a top quality bookthat could make all the difference in your life for 2010, but in doing so you will be donating directly to the Rotary Club of Sidcup's Christmas Appeal. An appeal that has helped scores of charities over the last couple of years and has benefited thousands of lives of people the world over. There is always a need for more charitable donations, but this year I didn't want to just ask for money (as I did last year). I wanted to offer you something of very real value - more value than the asking price - so that you can feel great about donating. Enough talk - go to http://onetip.org right now and get your copy. We'd really appreciate it if you felt able to support the Rotary by buying the ebook but I completely understand if you have already spent your charity cash this year (though this purchase could be classed as a business requirement!).
