SUCCESS TIPS: Solutions for Your Career, Your Business and Your Life!

Happy Monday - I hope this first month of 2015 is going strong; I am still trying to get over a cold, which this crazy weather is not helping. This is the time to keep strong and forge on. If you've been following me for some time, you know that I love to go to Universal, which I did this past weekend. In Diagon Alley - ala Potter World - there is a puppet show that takes place several times during the day.

They've had the tale of Beadle the Bob and the Three Brothers but it is now the tale of The Fountain of Fair Fortune. This story revolves around three sisters who each have their own trials in life to deal with - one needs a cane, one has a serious disease, while the third is beautiful but insecure after being left by the one she loved. They go in search of a magic fountain, which is protected by strong magic; every year, on the longest day, one person is granted the opportunity to step into the fountain and received some type of fortune. The three sisters, along the way, encounter a knight named Sir Luckless who was a terrible knight by standards.

When they get to the fountain, each sister deferred to the other to enter it; one sister collected herbs that healed the sick one; the sister with the cane collapsed from exhaustion, and the third sister did not feel the need any longer to heal her heart. So, Sir Luckless entered and became a strong and fighting knight who won the heart of this last sister. All four then left the fountain and worked their way home, each believing they were 'cured.' However, it was revealed that the fountain actually had no healing powers - each already had the ability to overcome their obstacles. I cannot tell you how blown away I was by this story, not to mention the puppetry and the theatrical ability of the actors.

I think this story relates to each of us - we all have the ability to overcome our obstacles and, really, our fears, if we just believe in ourselves and focus on positive thoughts vs negative ones. If you see it, you will feel and believe it, which then you can act on so keep your focus on all your positive thoughts and actions so you will be an achiever.

I am very excited to announce that the book I am a co-author in has been released.  It is called, Contagious Optimism, and it is available on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or on the site www.lifecarrots.com.  It was a thrill for me to finally see the book in print, as it has been 3 years since I submitted my first article (I have 3 in the book); I went to Delray Beach for the book signing and met fellow coauthors and sign books.  Wow - what an experience! If you want to feel inspired and uplifted, then I encourage you to check out the book.
