Hey everybody!
I mentioned recently that I'll be launching my latest online program- 'Transformational Fasting'. And although there's been small delay in putting together all the research and materials - I'm proud to say that it is finally READY, and it will go on sale tomorrow - in less than 24 hours.
Also, I've been getting a lot of questions about the program, so I thought I'd just shoot out
an email and address them. 
Here are some of the most common ones...
 

Q: What is Transformational Fasting?
A: Transformational Fasting is an advanced strategy and approach to fat loss and a healthier body. It does not involve 'point/scoring' systems, no weighing of foods, and no stressful counting of calories. The program requires a full 24-hour fast while strategically supplementing with advanced supplements to prevent your body from going into a catabolic/breakdown state. It consists of a set of downloadable PDF manuals, guides, and many bonuses (to be announced tomorrow). It is not a physical product. It is recommended that you print out the manuals for easy reference. Alternatively, the PDF format can also be read on your iPhone/iPad.
Q: I am a Muslim, and I'm fasting for Ramadhan right now. Can I go on the Transformational Fasting plan?
A: Yes - you can. I have included a BONUS Ramadhan Strategy which takes into consideration the unique fasting requirements of Muslims and applies the advanced strategies of nutrient timing. In other words - I've come up with a plan on how you should structure your meals at sahur and iftar. After Ramadhan, you'll be able to transition very nicely into the 7-day cycle recommended in the program. So you can start right away!
 
Q: Won't fasting cause me to lose muscle?
A: No, as long as you are working out with the right exercise, and strength training (if you're looking to be buffed), you will not lose muscle. Plus, this is exactly why we will be guiding you on strategic supplements to help prevent muscle breakdown during your fast. Awesome stuff coming up!
 
Q: What are things I can do other than fasting to help me lose fat?
My recommendation would be to use the interval training bodyweight workouts in the BONUS 4-week program you received as part of your purchase of the Transformational Fasting program. 
Q: How fast will I lose weight?
You must accept that you didn't get to where you are today overnight - it took you some time. Therefore, it's only fair that you give your body adequate time to return to it's healthier state. With that being said, most of my clients on the Transformational Fasting lifestyle tend to lose weight at a rate of 1-3 pounds per week.
Q: I know you suggest exercise while following Transformational Fasting, but what about other types of exercise like pilates, or hiking?
I absolutely encourage you to practice as many different types of exercise as possible. Just like nutrition I think variety is the key to exercise and both pilates and hiking are excellent examples of exercises that challenge your body and compliment the Transformational Fasting plan.
Q: Do you think this program would be beneficial to someone who is simply trying to maintain his or her current weight?
Yes. Transformational Fasting provides a simple way to maintain your weight. Instead of fasting once every 7-days, a person wishing to maintain their bodyweight could fast once every 10 days.
Q: My husband is really interested in Transformational Fasting, but he is diabetic, can he still try it out?
Transformational Fasting was designed for healthy people trying to lose weight. If your husband wants to try the program, he should only do so under the direct supervision of a doctor or healthcare practitioner.
Q: How much does it cost?

It's Thursday afternoon, and as the school holidays are about to come to an end, I'm preparing to take a week long break next week (much deserved!) to work on some 'secret' projects. But more on that another day.
Today, I wrote a new blog post - which touches on what we're doing to our children. Recently, the Malaysian government introduced a free milk programme for school kids - and placed thousands of packets of flavoured milk into the hands of children.
Oh boy. I don't know about you.. but that's just plain irresponsible.

When he turned 43 in 1957, Jack LaLanne performed
more than 1,000 push-ups in 23 minutes on the You
Asked For It television show.
At 60, he swam from Alcatraz Island to Fisherman's
Wharf in San Francisco -- handcuffed, shackled and
towing a boat.
Ten years later, at age 70, he performed a similar
feat in Long Beach harbor.
The only way you can hurt the body is not use it,
LaLanne said. Inactivity is the killer and, remember,
it's never too late.

Jack Lalanne died on Sunday. You can read a very

Jack LaLanne was easily one of the most influential
fitness fanatics of 20th century, and it is a must
for me to share his story with you.
In fact, I'm pretty certain that Jack would like that,
because it's what he lived for.
