Joint Forces Layoffs Limited Mainly to Contractors

Officials at Joint Forces Command have found new positions for most of the command’s civilian defense employees, leaving civilian contractors to bear the brunt of the decision to disestablish the activity. The civilian workers in Hampton Roads would be assigned to other commands, with most going to the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
