Rules??? I Don't Follow Any Stinkin Rules

Not because I am disrespectful.
More because my brain is just not wired that way.
I always questioned everything.
I was the kid who said...
Why can't I do it this way.
My way works...Why can't I do it the way I like.
And this carried through my whole life and today it
carries into my business.
I am just weird I guess.
I don't think in PROCESS...
I think in OUTCOMES and my mind just seeks the
fastest and easiest way to the outcome.
So very often while everyone else is trying to follow
the rules to getting what they want ...
I just see a shortcut and take it.
Always did...
Always will.
So ya...
Some of my methods can be wikky wacky
But if they get me to the finish line and I
achieve the outcome without having to follow
some pre prescribed rules on how something
has to be done...
Then WHY NOT???
And for the life of me I will never
understand why people get so bent on
when I don't do what someone said I am
supposed to do.
Who cares?
As long as the job gets done....
It's all good...
No?
I guess this is why I wasn't cut out to
be an employee.
I remember my last job...back about 17 years ago.
I did more in 90 days than my predecessor had done EVER.
So of course people started to get a little uncomfortable.
They tried to reel me in.
Cause gosh knows we wouldn't wan't all the
non performers to feel bad.
And eventually I just got BORED.
I felt stifled.
And eventually I just had to go....
As much as they begged me to stay.
It was time.
Ever feel like that?
Like it's time?
