Picture this:

It's 2006...

YouTube is brand new and only

a handful of people in the space 

are using it.

I am scared to give it a try...

Worried about my hair and if I'll 

look fat and all that jazz...

But I say

WHAT THE HECK

and I give it a whirl.

Cut my first video and

BOOM...

Over 2000 views in 2 days.

A STAR WAS BORN!

And no...don't take me wrong...

I dont think I'm ALL THAT...

Back then is was EASY to become a STAR

as only a handful of people were using the medium.

And so I went on producing informative videos
for a couple of years and things were GOOD.

Then...

As time went by I am not sure if I got

VIDEO BLOCK, or I got self conscious, or

if I just got disenchanted as now EVERYONE

was using video and for a video that I once would

get 5000 views on I had to struggle to get 500.

Plus add in that peo0le we doing all kinds of

fancy editing  and green screen stuff that frankly

I just had no desire to keep up with...

So I put away my video camera and relied

on all my other marketing methods.

The star had become a RECLUSE.

Rarely shooting a video and rarely speaking her word.


But something has happened to me recently

and I am back in the saddle again.

I don't know whether I just don't care anymore about 

how I look now that I am closing in on 50...

Or whether I can feel the tide in the industry turning

and moving back towards the fundamentals and getting 

away from all the fancy dancy technical stuff ...

Or whether I am INSPIRED by my current group

of December Intensive students....

But I have been on a video run!

And man is there good stuff in dem dare videos :)

You really need to catch them and keep catching them.

They will help you out with your business a lot.

Totally worth your time if I do say so myself!
