Quite a few people wrote to say thanks for mentioning
MyNAMS, David Perdew's powerful niche marketing resource...

 http://www.ezinemarketingcenter.com/nams.htm

But on looking at my stats, I notice that a larger
number of my readers - maybe that includes YOU - did
not even check out the offer.

That's terrible, but...

I'm not blaming YOU for it.

I blame the clueless marketers (and/or malicious scam
artists) who hype up the worst trash to sound appealing
and attractive - to the point that you and me, as hapless
consumers, start to view EVERYTHING with cynicism, suspicion
and frank alarm.

"Is this REALLY good? Or is it just one MORE thing
these "gooroos" are all getting behind and pitching
 for the juicy commissions?"

That question just keeps on playing in our minds when
we look at ANY sales pitch these days!

And that means we're definitely missing out on some
great deals and offers - simply because we have no way
of sorting out the wheat from the chaff!

MyNAMS is definitely "wheat", not "chaff". Here's why.

I glanced through the MyNAMS forum last night, and saw
these things:

* A discussion where, in response to a member's query
on a technical marketing issue, 8 experts (with a
collective experience of OVER ONE HUNDRED YEARS of
online marketing!) posted feedback, ideas and suggestions

* Another where a guy hit by the recent Google updates
and lost top rankings for his primary website was being
encouraged and inspired by practical guidance from SEO
specialists who were offering concrete action steps to
bounce back into the rankings

* One more where a lady new to online marketing was
being welcomed warmly and given some excellent advise
about planning, setting up and growing her online
venture

... and so much more.

If YOU faced a similar situation, or needed that kind of
advise, EACH of these threads, in and of itself, would be
worth a multiple of what it cost you to become a member!

There are dozens of such discussions in the forum.

And the forum itself is just one out of TWENTY benefits
MyNAMS members get as part of their package!

David has done a far better job than I can in telling you
more about them, so go take a look...

http://www.ezinemarketingcenter.com/nams.htm

Listen, you do NOT have to think about signing up.

Don't feel compelled to make a decision based on just
what I'm telling you here.

Leave that for later, after you've seen WHAT is on offer.

But don't miss out on doing that, or put it off for "later"
(that never comes) because MyNAMS could well be the PERFECT
solution for YOU.

And then again, it may not.

You'll only know after learning more about it. By reading
this simple, straightforward letter explaining it all.

http://www.ezinemarketingcenter.com/nams.htm

What will you have lost by checking it out?

Five minutes?

Maybe ten?

Is that such a big cost - especially for something that may
impact your marketing future so positively?

If it is, then ignore this email.

Or else, go to this link and see what MyNAMS members are
enjoying (and you can too):

http://www.ezinemarketingcenter.com/nams.htm

That page has to rank as the LOWEST hype letter to
explain such a powerful, benefit-loaded, high-value
offer that I've seen in a really long time!

All success

Let me tell you a little story.

It has a moral - and a lesson!

In 2004, I boarded a LONG flight from India to the US...
just to attend a weekend-long seminar.

It was well worth the 20 hour airplane ride + the 9 hour
stop-over in Frankfurt airport, lounging around watching
craft land and take off - all to meet the kind of folks
at the event.

(I even got to briefly speak to, and shake hands with, my
hero and mentor, Jay Abraham!)

At that high-powered seminar, I also met people who are
today household names in the infopreneur/IM niche - folks
with six-figure lists and 7-figure incomes.

One of them made me a promise - which he then broke.

He promised to support my CHD work by telling his list of
(at that time) 75,000+ about what I do, and even promote
one of my hot-selling products to his audience.

All through the trip back home, I was cheered by that rosy
dream of banking a HUGE profit from his promotion, and
being able to fund many heart surgeries from the proceeds.

The figure kept growing bigger in my imagination as I worked
out various possibilities. By the time I arrived home, I
had practically convinced myself that it would be a surprise
if we were able to fund any less than 25 operations from
this single promotion.

For a week, I waited eagerly to hear back from the guy.

Nothing.

I figured he was busy catching up on stuff after the event.
But when there was no communication from him for 2 weeks,
I shot him a quick email.

He replied right away, saying he hadn't forgotten - and
was thinking about the best time to run the promotion.

My flagging hopes were instantly revived.

For another 10 days, I walked on air... only to slowly sink
back to earth again when nothing further happened.

By now, I was wondering if it was a mistake to put my other
promotion plans on hold while waiting for this guy - and so
got back to contacting other JV partners.

But my heart was not in it.

I was still hoping for that big home run - and couldn't
focus on the 'smaller' deals.

Finally, losing patience, I sent him one more reminder.

No reply.

Two days later, I wrote to him AGAIN.

Nothing.

By now, I realized how much of a fool I had been - falling
for an insincere promise.

Restraining my impulse to fire him off an angry note, I reasoned
that after all it was his list, his choice to promote me or
not, and his decision to not keep his word.

But it still hurt.

Badly.

Even though it was MY fault for raising hopes and building up
expectations based on what was (looking back) just a casual
"promise" made at an event where he was networking with dozens
and dozens of other marketers.

That pain impacted the enthusiasm with which I promoted the
product - and after a while, I even gave up on it, and moved
on to other stuff.

At the time, I made MYSELF a promise.

"I Won't Do This To Anyone - Ever!"

I've tried my best to stay true to it.

But (as on a very few other occasions), on April 14th 2012

 I BROKE My Promise !!!

How?

My great friend, long time CHD supporter, and inspiring role
model, David Perdew, invited me to tell you about his brilliant
program called MyNAMS -

 The Niche Affiliate Marketing System

 http://www.EzineMarketingCenter.com/nams.htm

I was traveling out of town that weekend, and promised to do
it as "soon as I get back home on Monday, David."

Well, that Monday went by.

So did SIX more.

And I still haven't told you about the most valuable program
for niche marketers that I've had the privilege and pleasure
of being a part of.

David's such a gentleman, he never once troubled me about it.

(Maybe he should have! That way, YOU would have got to hear
about it sooner.)

Anyway, I could get lyrical about the value inside MyNAMS -
but won't... because David himself has listed SEVENTEEN ways
you'll benefit from being a part of this group.

Check it out.

You won't regret it.

http://www.EzineMarketingCenter.com/nams.htm

What's the lesson or moral of this story?

You tell me.

I'll listen to you - and then share my own take-away :)

All success

On the Web, the ONLY constant is CHANGE!

The Web I was first introduced to in 1995 bears hardly ANY
resemblance to today's version.

And the way I've managed to stay on top of things for over
15 years online is by adapting to change.

Some changes were minor, hardly noticed, and easy.

Others were significant, obvious and tough to make.

Today, I'm making one of the latter.

 A BIG change.

And if YOU want to be a part of that change, and continue
to follow my moves as an Internet infopreneur, then there
is only one way...

To Join This New 'Insiders' Group

(No, not the paid group.

That one's even MORE exclusive - go here to join it:)

http://smilenaire.com/smile10.htm

This one is free... and is the single list which will be
managed actively, updated frequently, and tell you first
about some exclusive deals that are a consequence of
these big changes.

To sign up, go here:

http://www.EzineMarketingCenter.com/innercircle.htm

Of course, you can choose to do nothing.

You'll still get the occasional note, promotion and
freebie. Just not the best and newest ones :)

.

- My Interesting (Failed) Experiment, and...

I had a crazy idea.

It involved giving away a new $67 course on blogging
that I had created for those looking to succeed with
niche marketing... this one:

http://www.RichNicheBlogs.com

I wrote a blog post explaining the idea - and it was
viewed by 1,034 people in 2 days.

45 visitors clicked through to the registration form.

Of them, 36 signed up to the course.

That's not terrible, in itself. A 3.5% conversion on
any offer is average, if not good (especially for a
FREE offer).

What did break the model, though, is what happened next.

At the crux of this idea was the belief that anyone
who signed up to get a $67 program for free, and was
keen on getting even higher value from it, would be
willing (even happy) to invite a few more friends to
take advantage of this offer.

It would get more bloggers into a private group, where
the networking and mutual support were meant to be a
core benefit of the project.

To my amazement (and disappointment), there was
 NOT EVEN ONE legitimate referral!

(One member even signed up 3 fake email addresses in order
to get into the private group - which would be wasteful,
as the only value from the group will come from dedicated
bloggers participating in the process.)

This was an eye-opener.

Just a few years ago, a free offer like this coming from
me would be snapped up by 200 or more subscribers - and
the private group would have grown to critical size in a
day or two.

Wondering what was different now, I polled my list.

Many responded.

And the news was heartening.

It wasn't that my offer was bad, or that I did something
wrong. It's just that they were already busy with a
project of their own - and did not want to lose focus!

That's commendable.

I'm happy to hear it. Focus is the key to success - in
anything.

But I'm sure that reason doesn't apply to everyone.

Of nearly 1,000 who read the blog post but chose not to go
ahead and join, there were many who turned down the offer
for a different reason.

And my instinct is that it is LACK OF TRUST.

We've all been so badly and frequently hurt by the shameless
marketing blitz of hucksters using the lure of 'free' that
we automatically slot any such offer into the same broad
category... of "pie in the sky" dreams!

My offer got positioned wrongly.

As a potential scam.

Or a lead in to a money-sucking operation.

Or, at best, a worthless program pretending to be value.

We've all seen it before - and EXPECT it to happen every
time.

This realization made me decide to pull the free offer -
and price it once again at the right level.

Rich Niche Blogs goes back up to $67.

http://www.RichNicheBlogs.com

It's worth much more, and is a great deal at that price.

What I'm adding to the offer is membership to the private
group... at $27 a month. (I thought about $47 a month at
first, because that's closer to the real value - and it
may well go up to that level soon).

Yes, that's the offer I was willing to give away for just
3 referrals to the program - but it didn't happen, and so
charging a fee seems a better way to showcase the value.

That, and the money will let me run ads to get more new
members aboard, carrying out the role I'd hoped 'viral
word-of-mouth marketing' would handle.

The offer will be presented as an 'upsell' only to those
who order the course, as a value-addition to your niche
blogging training.

If this change disappoints you, I'm sorry.

It had a fair chance of working, if what I had expected
happened.

But without the 'tell a friend' component kicking in, it
just wasn't feasible (in a practical sense) to justify the
time and effort involved on my part to deliver the coaching.

Those who are already aboard will get to complete the
course... though without the private group, the value is
a fraction of what it may have been.

The invitation to pay for access to the private group is
still open to all - if it seems like a good idea.

Lessons from this failed experiment will serve me well.

I hope they are of some help to you also, which is why I'm
sharing them with you.

All success
Dr.Mani

P.S. - There's one glitch in the process that came from my
oversight. The blog post pre-sold the blog coaching - so
when folks clicked through to it, they got just a sign up
form to fill.

The 'tell a friend' link, however, bypassed this pre-sell
page and pointed directly to the bare opt-in form - which
meant YOU had to provide the background to convince your
referrals that it's worth signing up.

Maybe directing the referral link to the pre-sell blog post
would have been better?!

Hmm... :)

Don't be amused or surprised at the question. There are
quite a few people who would answer "Yes".

(A funnier question might be, "Who else do you remember
who has been around since then?" - over 90% have fallen
by the wayside!)

There's just ONE reason many of my subscribers stay on
my list for a decade...

They Get Enormous VALUE From It

But a lot changes over 10 years.

Looking back, I can see not all of it has been for the
better. And it reflects in the changed relationship I
now have with you and others on my list.

So I'm doing something about it.

To make things better - even if 'smaller'.

It's my "Insane Idea" - and you can learn more about it,
see how you can pick up a brand new $67 course for free,
AND be part of an exclusive online community... just
read this blog post:
