Eastlake Lacrosse Players & Parents,

First of all, thank you for all those who wrote to the City of Sammamish to express their support for the plan to install synthetic  turf on the baseball field behind the existing community fields at Eastlake High School.  My sources had the date of the vote wrong, but our outspoken support of the decision to install a multi-use field capable of supporting lacrosse (and soccer) games rather than a baseball-only field was noticed by the Mayor and City Council members. 

In fact, one of the council members wrote back expressing the following:

"I appreciated you letting the Sammamish City Council know you supported the recent decision in December to make the current baseball field multi-use when it is turfed and lighted.

Just so you know, I was one of the four Councilmembers that voted in favor of this plan."

As indicated, the good news is the fact that vote had already taken place and the city council voted in favor of the multi-use field.
