Eastlake Lacrosse Players & Parents,

The City of Sammamish has approval to put an artificial turf field on the Eastlake High School baseball field. Right now this artificial field will include a full size lacrosse (and soccer) field in the outfield, but this plan is in jeopardy. Some of the baseball users don't want the soccer field included and have expressed their opposition to this to the City Council. They don't want the field to include the lacrosse/soccer field. 

The City Council MEETS TONIGHT and is expected to make their final decision.

If you support the addition of an artificial turf field on the Eastlake High School baseball field please send an e-mail to the City Council today. 

The e-mail address is citycouncil@ci.sammamish.wa.us. It is important that the City Council receives input from lacrosse and soccer members that support the addition of this new field. It would greatly benefit us greatly as I know you are all aware of the limited full size fields that we have access to. If the council doesn't receive a substantial number of messages from the lacrosse community supporting this initiative, they may vote to not include the lacrosse/soccer field.

Please take 5 minutes today to send a brief message to the City Council in support of the lacrosse field.
