New Everyday EMS Posts for Week of - May 23, 2012

The EMS Web Summit was fantastic. Were you able to participate? As much as I enjoyed presenting, I had even more fun interacting in the chat room with other attendees during presentations by Steve Whitehead, Bob Page, Rom Duckworth, Jamie Todd, and Tim Noonan. Let's hope that plans are already underway for the next EMSWebSummit.com.
Stay safe,
Greg

Tomorrow is the first ever EMS Web Summit. I have heard well over 500 EMS professionals have registered to hear top EMS speakers like Steve Whitehead, Bob Page, Peter Canning, and Tim Noonan. Plus you can win prizes like apps from Limmer Creative and a 1 year CE subscription from CentreLearn Solutions. You still have time to register at EMSWebSummit.com.

Thanks for your t-ball coaching tips. Our first game was a success. With only 7 players on our team the kids get lots of reps batting and playing positions in the field. When I run drills and simulations for EMS students I always try to keep group sizes small to maximize the number of reps we can complete. The more practice the better to build muscle memory, reinforce cognitive knowledge, and practice affective behaviors.

Despite a total lack of experience and baseball knowledge I agreed to coach my son's t-ball team. My goals for the team are to have fun, learn about being on a team, and that nobody gets hurt. I am hoping the kids learn to get their glove up so the ball doesn't hit them in the head and to drop, rather than throw their bat. I would welcome your t-ball coaching tips.

Greg

I have not posted much because we are in the midst of moving the blog to a new hosting platform. Need to focus on re-building the structure before I can add content. We are close to finishing the move and then more regular posting will return.
Thanks for your patience!

Lots of activity at Everyday EMS Tips headquarters. Being in the midst of a lot of change ... to early to share the details ... posting frequency is going to be irregularly irregular. Please bear with me as I have some exciting things to share once the details settle out.
What big change is happening in your life this Spring? Anything I can do to help?
Enjoy!
